Boilerplate_XH

Building bricks

Boilerplate_XH facilitates to manage and (re)use text blocks consisting of (X)HTML on CMSimple pages. This way, you write some text once, and can reuse it on several pages. Actually boilerplate() is very similar to newsbox(). But while newsbox() is working with hidden CMSimple pages, boilerplate() stores is content in separate files. So you can use this feature to keep your content.htm small by replacing the complete page content with a Boilerplate_XH text block.

It requires a UTF-8 encoded CMSimple_XH installation. It is released under GPLv3.

The latest changes are listed in the changelog. For further details you can read the manual online.

Since version 1rc1 the extension of the boilerplate data files has changed from .dat to .htm. Please rename existing files accordingly.

If you have already installed at least version 1rc3, you can download and install the patch. This won't overwrite any config, language or css files.
